COOKIES POLICY
This website uses cookies to enhance user experience and ensure operation of the website.
What are cookies?
A cookie is a small string of text sent by a web server to a user (usually a web browser) that is stored in a client’s computer as a regular file. It allows the server to identify the user by checking the cookie sent by the user. Such a mechanism was introduced because the HTTP protocol itself does not maintain long- term connection to the server, and the server treats each new request of a client as a new client.
Cookies are most often used for user authentication (when a user enters his or her username and password, the server sends a unique text string to the user’s computer, after which it can be determined that the user is logged in), maintaining a session, and storing user-specific information. By using cookies, the user transforms the website according to his or her wishes and interests.
Since the introduction of cookies, many Internet users have been concerned that their personal lives are tracked, as cookies can be used to track a user’s actions and habits when browsing websites. Because of this, several countries (the United States, European Union) have passed laws regulating the use of cookies. In addition, one negative aspect of cookies is poor security, as they cannot always accurately identify the user (if a computer is used by several persons), they can be maliciously intercepted and modified.
It is also possible to block cookies, but once this is done, problems can occur as some of the functions offered by the website may not work or may even be denied access to. Different browsers have different ways to block cookies. Cookies, like any other file, can be deleted, but this means that settings made on the basis of cookies will not be saved.
