Metropole is proud to be Riga’s oldest continuously running hotel, having opened its doors in 1871. In those days it had the honour of being the first hotel in Latvia to have hot running water in its rooms. Today, the hotel also has a stylish bar where one can enjoy the charm of a bygone era with a variety of drinks and cocktails.
In the beginning of 2018, a new chapter was written in the story of Semarah Hotels with the opening of the Grand Poet hotel on Rainis Boulevard. A hotel with unique design rooms, an upscale restaurant, SPA facilities, a swimming pool and views of Bastion Hill, one of Riga’s most beautiful parks, began accepting guests. The hotel is located in an historic building and during the renovation process special care was taken to maintain its original charm.
Hotel Lielupe is located in one of Jurmala’s most beautiful areas – surrounded by a centuries-old pine forest only 200 metres from the beach at Bulduri. This is one of the most popular beaches on the Baltic Sea coast and the perfect place to relax with your family. It is the largest hotel in the Semarah Hotels chain and includes 264 rooms, an extensive Wellness centre with a 25m-long swimming pool, Turkish bath, Finnish sauna, Jacuzzi and SPA zone, a modern, fully equipped Kids Club, a restaurant and 13 rooms of various sizes for conferences and other events.
