GIFT CARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. GIFT CARD<\/span>
    \n1.1. The Semarah Hotels Gift Card (henceforth \u2013 Gift Card) is issued by SIA \u201cSemarah Hotel Management\u201d, registration No. 40103576889 in the Register of Enterprises of the Republic of Latvia, legal address: Skanstes iela 7 k-1, Riga, LV-1013 (henceforth \u2013 Issuer).<\/span>
    \n1.2. The Gift Card is a plastic prepaid card with an individual number designed by the Issuer, which can be used at the Issuer\u2019s hotel chain to pay for a variety of services including the chain\u2019s restaurants.<\/span>
    \n1.3. The Gift Card can be purchased by individuals as well as legal entities (henceforth \u2013 Purchaser).<\/span>
    \n1.4. The balance of the Gift Card is chosen by the Purchaser and can include sums from 5,00 \u2013 500,00 \u20ac.<\/span><\/span> <\/li>\n
  2. PURCHASING A GIFT CARD<\/span>
    \n2.1. The Gift Card can be purchased at any of the hotels within the Issuer\u2019s chain of hotels or at the Issuer\u2019s website http:\/\/www.semarahhotels.com<\/a> and can be received at one of the following of the Issuer\u2019s hotels: Hotel Lielupe, Bulduru prospekts 64\/68, Jurmala; Hotel Grand Poet, Rai\u0146a bulv\u0101ris 5\/6, Riga; Hotel Metropole, Aspazijas bulv\u0101ris 36\/38, Riga.<\/span>
    \n2.2. Upon receiving the Gift Card and a receipt, the Purchaser must confirm the balance of the Gift Card by checking the sum listed on the receipt given to the Purchaser and, if no discrepancies are found, the Purchaser must sign the issued receipt confirming that the Gift Card\u2019s activated balance is correct.<\/span>
    \n2.3. The Gift Card can be purchased with a bank card or in cash at the hotel, or by bank transfer in accordance with the invoice issued by the Issuer. You cannot use a Gift Card to pay for another Gift Card.<\/span>
    \n2.4. The price of the Gift Card and the balance (denomination) of the Gift Card are the same. A commission is not charged when purchasing the Gift Card.<\/span>
    \n2.5. The purchase of the Gift Card becomes indisputable and is no longer subject to change once the Purchaser has received the Gift Card.<\/span><\/span> <\/li>\n
  3. USE OF A GIFT CARD<\/span>
    \n3.1. A Gift Card is automatically activated at the time of purchase and can be used immediately afterward.<\/span>
    \n3.2. A Gift Card cannot be reloaded.<\/span>
    \n3.3. The Gift Card can be used by the Purchaser or any other User \u2013 an individual or legal entity to whom the Purchaser has given the Gift Card.<\/span>
    \n3.4. The Gift Card can be used to pay for any of the following services at the Issuer\u2019s chain of hotels:<\/span>
    \n3.4.1. Hotel Lielupe – accommodation, a visit to the Wellness Centre, SPA services, food and drink at the restaurant or bar, Kids Club services, conference room rental;<\/span>
    \n3.4.2. Hotel Grand Poet – accommodation, a visit to the Wellness Centre, food and drink at the restaurant, bar, or cafe, conference room rental;<\/span>
    \n3.4.3. Hotel Metropole – accommodation, food and drink at the restaurant, conference room rental.<\/span>
    \n3.5. The Gift Card cannot be used for prepaid hotel room reservations.<\/span>
    \n3.6. If the amount of the transaction exceeds the amount of the Gift Card or the remaining balance of the Gift Card, the User must pay for the outstanding amount in cash, with a bank or credit card, or with another Gift Card.<\/span>
    \n3.7. When carrying out a transaction, the sum of the Gift Card or the remaining balance of the Gift Card is reduced by the amount of the transaction. A Gift Card can be used for multiple transactions until the balance of the Gift Card has been spent or until the Gift Card has expired.<\/span>
    \n3.8. The User can independently check the balance of the Gift Card at the Issuer\u2019s website     http:\/\/www.semarahhotels.com<\/a> or at any of the Issuer\u2019s hotels.<\/span>
    \n3.9. Once the entire balance of the Gift Card has been used, the Gift Card is not returned to the User.<\/span>
    \n3.10. The User cannot receive the monetary value of the Gift Card or the Gift Card\u2019s remaining balance in cash.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
      \n
    1. EXPIRATION DATE OF THE GIFT CARD<\/span>
      \n1. The Gift Card can be used for 12 (twelve) months beginning on the date that the Gift Card is issued to the Purchaser.<\/span>
      \n4.2. After the expiration date, the Gift Card is no longer valid regardless of whether or not the complete balance of the Gift Card has been used, and the Gift Card is considered invalid. The remaining balance of the Gift Card will not be returned to the User or the Purchaser.<\/span>
      \n4.3. The User has the right to ask the Issuer, no later than one month before the Gift Card\u2019s expiration, to extend the expiration date by one month by submitting a written request to the Issuer.<\/span>
      \n4.4. The User must send the request to extend the Gift Card\u2019s expiration date to the Issuer\u2019s email address: giftcard@semarahhotels.com. The Gift Card\u2019s number must also be submitted.<\/span>
      \n4.5. The Issuer will review the User\u2019s request to extend the Gift Card\u2019s expiration date within 5 (five) business days. If the Issuer decides to accept the User\u2019s request, the Gift Card is extended for a month and a commission of \u20ac10 (ten) is charged to process the request, with confirmation of the extension sent to the User\u2019s email address (the address from which the request was sent).<\/span><\/span> <\/li>\n
    2. OTHER TERMS & CONDITIONS<\/span>
      \n1. The Issuer does not pay interest on the balance of the Gift Card.<\/span>
      \n5.2. In the event of the loss or theft of the Gift Card, the Issuer does not block the Gift Card or return the monetary value of the Gift Card or its remaining balance.<\/span>
      \n5.3. Claims or complaints regarding the Gift Card must be submitted in writing to the Issuer at SIA \u201cSemarah Hotel Management\u201d, Skanstes iela 7 k-1, Riga, LV-1013, no later than 3 (three) months after the expiration date of the Gift Card. The Issuer reviews claims within 30 (thirty) days from the date the claim is received and issues a response.<\/span>
      \n5.4. The Issuer has the right to process the personal data of Purchasers and Users to the extent necessary to implement the terms and conditions of the Gift Card and to maintain and operate the Gift Card system. The Issuer strictly observes the applicable laws and regulations in the field of personal data protection of the Republic of Latvia when processing personal data.<\/span>
      \n5.5. All disputes arising between the Issuer and the Purchaser and\/or User are negotiated. If mutual agreement is not reached, any dispute, argument, or claim will be settled in court in accordance with the procedures specified by the laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia.<\/span>
      \n5.6. The Issuer reserves the right to change these Gift Card terms and conditions, informing the Purchaser and the User thereof by placing information on the Issuer’s website at       http:\/\/www.semarahhotels.com<\/a> and in the hotels of the Issuer\u2019s hotel chain.<\/span>
      \n5.7. By purchasing a Gift Card, the Purchaser confirms that he is familiar with the terms and conditions of the Gift Card and agrees to familiarize the User with them.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
